Our Place Living LLC was founded with a simple purpose: to provide safe, welcoming, and affordable independent shared living opportunities where adults can enjoy comfort, dignity, and a true sense of home.

Our Place was founded by Shonda Barnes, an Occupational Therapy Practitioner with years of experience in patient care and private-duty home care. It grew directly out of firsthand experience serving individuals and families in their homes and across a variety of healthcare settings.

Today, Our Place Living offers thoughtfully designed shared housing for adults seeking an affordable, comfortable, and community-oriented living environment while maintaining their independence. For individuals who need additional non-medical assistance, our sister company Our Place Homecare provides personalized in-home services that support daily living while helping clients remain as independent as possible.
